A Message from our Executive
Director
Professional Care Services, Inc. is an agency composed of
caring and involved professionals who are trained to respond to the health needs
of their community through assessment, intervention, treatment, rehabilitation
and support. The agency exists as part of the community and, as such, invites
you to participate with us in helping to create an environment that fosters and
sustains positive health for us all.

Our Mission
Professional Care Services, Inc. was initially organized April
1, 1972 as the Covington Mental Health Center and was associated with the Tipton
County Hospital. We were established as a community mental health center for all
children and adults who live or work in Tipton, Lauderdale, and Fayette counties
in West Tennessee. On January 1, 1981, the Center obtained a separate charter
and the name was changed to Tri-County Mental Health Services, Inc. The name was
changed to Professional Counseling Services, Inc. on January 1, 1992. In 2005,
Professional Counseling Services changed its name to Professional Care Services
of West Tennessee, Inc., a private, not for profit organization. Professional
Care Services has now expanded its charter to include health services to serve
citizens in all of West Tennessee.
Our primary purpose is to provide counseling and healthcare
services for the citizens of our communities.
A comprehensive assessment of each individual’s needs is
done to provide you with a program that will best suit you in reaching the goals
outlined by you and your provider.
